How to Get Free V-Bucks in Fortnite Battle Royale: 6 Ways

1. Don’t Play Every Fortnite. Play Every Day.

The first way, that you should be already doing to earn V-Bucks, is by logging into Save the Worldmode each day.

For each day that you log in, you’ll gain a reward which can range from cosmetic items all the way to V-Bucks.

The first day that you’ll earn free V-Bucks is Day 11 (which means the eleventh day that you log into your Save the World Mode). Following that, the next day where you can get the same V-Bucks will be on Day 28. (the twenty-eighth day that you log in).

Now I know, it’s not a lot of V-Bucks that you get when you should be rewarded more, but all in all this is far the most easiest method to get free V-Bucks on Fortnite Battle Royale.

2.  Complete the Daily Quests.

After you’ve advanced through the main storyline of Save the World, you’ll get access to Daily Quests.

Daily Quests are pretty similar to the Daily Challenges that you can find in Battle Royale mode. Basically what you do is each day you’ll receive one Daily Quest that requires you do a particular task to complete. It can be killing X number of enemies with a certain type of hero or even completing X number of mission by a certain type of hero.

Once you complete the quest, you’ll get a minimum of 50 V-Bucks, with only 3 Daily Quests offering more than that amount.

Similar to Daily Challenges, if you don’t complete the quest for that day, then another will be added the next day you log in with the max amount of three Daily Quests.

So in order to get more V-Bucks you’ll need to complete more Daily Quests and when you have three Daily Quests you need to complete at least one to receive a new quest. ?

You can find Daily Quests in your Fortnite main menu and under Quests at the very top. Tap that and under Daily Quests you’ll find all the available “jobs” you have.

3.  Storm through the Storm Shield Missions.

The third way you can earn V-Bucks is to complete the Storm Shield Missions.

If you don’t already know what they are, well, these are missions in each of the four areas that you unlock as you progress through the main storyline in Save the World. (it helps to understand the jargon that you don’t understand, just by trying out Save the World mode in your Fortnite).

Basically, each area has 6 Storm Shield Missions as you begin with it, and the remaining 4 unlocked ones are as Side Quests (I’ll get to this in a bit) which you will come across as you progress further into the game.

The best part? You get 100 V-Bucks for all the missions except the 10th mission which for that you get 150 V-bucks.

You can find the Storm Shield Missions as you progress through the Save the World mode in your Fortnite.

4.  Complete the Challenges & the Side Quests.

Okay. Remember how I talked about Side Quests just about a few minutes ago? Yeah those are entirely another set of quests that you can complete to also earn V-Bucks.

Now, not all Side Quests get you V-Bucks (Fortnite is pretty picky about these things) but the great part is that there are some Side Quests which gets you up to 150 V-Bucks.

Next up, Challenges. Challenges are little different from Side Quests because they are unlocked at different times during the main storyline which you go through. Challenges can be completed up to 10 times and the great thing about that is it gets you up to 50 V-bucks per completion.

So let’s make use of some Math we learnt in pre-school for this,

10 (completions) x 50 = 500 V-Bucks per Challenge.

Which is a lot especially since you’re just retrying the Challenges.

You can find both Challenges and Side Quests in your Fortnite main menu under the Quests which is at the top.

5.  Participate in Events.

No. You don’t need to wear your sweatpants or even get out of the house.

Events are a whole another set of quests which you can try out right through the comfort of your Fortnite main menu. Participating in these Events can provide tons of items including V-Bucks.

Now these Events happen weekly and they include several different quests which will get you V-Bucks.

You can find the Events in your Fortnite main menu under Quests at the top.

6. Buy V-Bucks to Get Free V-Bucks.

The last and only other method you can try to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite involves you having to buy V-Bucks.

Yes, it does kinda defeat the whole purpose of this guide but it’s still a more indirect way of getting dem V-Bucks for free.

All packages except the $9.99 packages will get you free V-Bucks when you buy it. While the $24.99 package doesn’t really provide a valuable reward, the $59.99 package does provide you an additional $15 worth of free V-Bucks. The $99.99 Package also includes a great deal too, giving you an additional $35 worth of free V-bucks when you buy it.

Choose the one you want based on what you need.
